Spring is finally here
I went to the botanical gardens in Kristiansand this afternoon to see if there were any signs of spring. I found some pretty afternoon sunlight, tree branches and tiny sprouts of crocus and snowdrops. The following two photos are reflections of trees in a pond.
Gaustatoppen
On our way home from the workshop in Rondane we spent a night at Gaustablikk hotel. Here are some of my photos. We did not have the time to hike to the top this day, but I´ve been on the top 3 times. It is an amazing hike and it is said that you can view 1/6 of Norway from this summit.
Rondane to Rjukan
After some great days in Rondane it was time to head back home. Our way up to Rondane was a 10 hour drive, but on our way home we decided to drive trough Dovre, Jotunheimen, Valdresflye and finally to Rjukan where we spend a night at hotel Gaustablikk. Our first stop was at the parking lot near Snøhetta viewpoint. It was quite windy, and then we realised that there was some heavy weather on the way. A wall of rain and hail was headed directly towards us. On our way to Lom Beautiful viewpoint at Valdresflye with a spectacular view of Jotunheimen. Bitihorn On our way to Rjukan
